Shalom to all.
I am "Searchinmyroots" and particpate on a few other forums. Although I am not a JBC, I am always in awe of those who are. I am fascinated by the stories of those who come to embrace Judaism, no matter what "type" of Jew they are.
As far as I'm concerned, there are only 2 types of Jews, those who are growing and those who are not.
I am a "growing Jew" as I really had no clue as to who I was or where I came from (from a Jewsih standpoint). So for the past 3-4 years or so, I've been "searching my roots". Now I try to go to 2-4 classes a week and learn of all the great teachings of Judaism and it's "instructions for life".
So you may "see" me time to time posting a few things here and there. But mostly I will probably be reading in awe of the beautiful world of Jews by Choice. Although, you really are just Jews!
Welcome to the family! Glad to see you've found your way home.
