| Awesome!!! Tell her congrats!
I'm hoping to take the plunge maybe by February or March. Our classes finish up in December, and I'm not really sure of our timeline after that.

| Congratulations to your friend!
I hope both of you have yours soon!
But of course, it's worth the wait!

| Congratulations! What a big day!
How do you feel now? I can only imagine! Anyway, I hope I'll find out how it is; I've made some progress towards my future conversion (well, it looks like it's going to be a little bit complicated because I can't do it here in my country, but I'm slowly finding a way - I'll write about it on the separate topic soon), so I am myself more and more excited and happy when I read all the great news here.
How was the party? | |

| Yes, I understood it was for your friend who went to the mikvah! But I can imagine how it feels to be "the next". Seems like a very exciting position.
. Well, well, I try to coordinate my Judaism/conversion studies and my PhD studies (I'm in the midst of writing my PhD thesis so it requires complete concentration on that work), so the dynamics in my life get so beautifully tensed. I'm reading all the time and I'm reading a lot. Sometimes I get the feeling I'm in the "fast forward" mode.
Anyway, I'll write about everything more on some separate topic (I'll try to find my introductory topic and to update it with a new post), but it looks like I'm going to work with a Reform rabbi from USA. Long distance, ha? It really is, but I hope it'll work. There were some very wonderful and lucky circumstances in my life lately, so I have the feeling like (almost) everything is just getting in the right place for me now. Well, I'm really happy. :)

| Just be patient and try to sort out your priorities (which can be so hard - I want this and I want that, I must finish this and I want to finish that instead, and I just want everything done at the same time and that is not quite possible - you understand it well, I suppose!). You'll manage everything and you'll eventually finish both your studies and your conversion if you want it (and if you work on it). That's what I tell myself all the time. :) | |

Ah, so you can keep going even though you are converting. That's interesting. Works out really good for you! It would be a bummer to have to quit and leave a degree unfinished.
