Understanding the Conversion Process Through Ruth (The First Jewish Convert)

I found this Forum a while ago an. I have enjoyed hearing about the trials and issues people have been having similar issues that I have as well. I find a lot of comfort in it to some degree.

I thought it was about time to contribute and post a few things that I have found enlightening from one source. Her name is Dr. Rachael Turkienicz and she has a few videos posted online that cover a plethora of issues regarding Judaism. I actually caught one of her well spoken webinars on the topic of Ruth and the meaning of her tale through the actual source material.

What I find really intriguing is her modern spin on the old text and she makes it more relate able to a modern audience.

There is a strong emphasis on Feminism and Spirituality through her website, but through past interactions with her, she's definitely open to discuss various topics about Judaism and she has a strong grasp over the source material.
